Disney Princess Cardboard Letters

So yesterday was my friend Holly’s birthday, and amidst finals week I hadn’t got her anything yet (yikes!) So me and my roommate Shelby had to think fast.

Holly loves Disney more than anything.  It can’t be described, you have to meet her to understand.  So naturally we went to the Disney store where Shelby put together the most adorable Disney present.

Isn't it cute?! Mini Pluto+Pooh Bear coffee mug+Starbucks gift card=perfect gift

I was still in a pickle however, so of course we went to Hobby Lobby next.  Original plan was to get her an adorable picture frame with a picture of the 3 of us in it. Well we saw cardboard letters and then….lightbulb!

Had to do Mod Podge Disney Princess letters.

So! Here’s what you need.

  • Cardboard letters
  • Sparkly paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Mod Podge
  • Foam brushes
  • Disney princess stickers

Step 1:  Trace outline of letters onto your paper

Step 2:  Cut out the letter you traced.

Step 3:  Put glue all over the cardboard letter and put on sparkly paper

Step 4:  Once the paper is on, turn it upside down and put a book on it for about 15 minutes

Step 5:  Have fun with your stickers!

And you’re done! We kept her “Y” pretty simple (and I’m absolutely in love with it) and went crazy with princess stickers on the “H”.

And you’re done! Super fast and easy and cheap.  Love it.

Oh and Holly loved her gifts. Here’s one picture I got of her reaction.

Isn’t she the cutest?! Her birthday was a lot of fun :)

Have a good week all, good luck on tests, and happy crafting!

Much love,

Lauren
